Tops & Taps – Refunds & Returns Policy

We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If you change your mind, our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days from the date you receive your item. If more than 30 days have passed, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange unless the item is faulty or your statutory rights apply.

Your statutory rights as a UK consumer are not affected.

 

1. 30-Day Returns Guarantee (Unused Items)

All unused items are eligible for either:

    • A full refund within 30 days of delivery (excluding any special delivery charges applied to your original order), or

    • A credit note for returns made between 31 and 365 days, subject to a 25% restocking fee.

Credit notes are valid for 12 months and can be used on any product or service offered by Tops & Taps.

Your statutory rights are not affected.


2. How to Return an Item

Please follow the simple three-step process below to request a return:

Step 1 – Submit a Return Request

Contact our Customer Service team within the applicable timeframe by submitting a return request via our online help desk. Please include:

    • Full name

    • Email address

    • Contact telephone number

    • Invoice or sales order number

    • Product details

  • Reason for return

Step 2 – Complete the Returns Form

Print and complete the returns form provided

Step 3 – Prepare & Send Your Return

Pack the item securely in its original packaging, include the completed returns form, and send it to the return address supplied by our Customer Service team.


Important Notices

    • Return postage costs are not covered by Tops & Taps.

    • Items must be returned unused, in original packaging and in a resellable condition.

    • Refunds and credit notes are issued within 14 days of receiving your return.

 

3. Requesting a Collection Service

Tops & Taps offers a convenient paid collection service through our trusted delivery partners. Collection fees vary depending on the size, type, and fragility of the item.

Below is a breakdown of current collection charges:


Small & Medium Items

Two return options are available:

A) Prepaid Drop-Off Label

(For small, non-fragile items)

    • Drop off at over 4,000 UK locations

    • Prices start from £9.99 (for parcels up to large shoe-box size)

B) Courier Collection

(For larger or fragile items)

    • Courier collection from your address

    • Charged at £19.99

    • Collection arranged for a day of your choice

A team member will confirm the available option when you raise your return.


Large Fragile Items

    • Collected by our fragile-goods delivery partner

    • Prices from £29.99 for the first box, plus £5 per additional box

    • All items will be inspected by the collection driver before acceptance


Extra-Large Fragile Items

    • Collected by our fragile-goods delivery partner

    • Prices from £39.99 for the first box, plus £5 per additional box

    • All items inspected prior to collection


Worktops

Due to size and handling requirements, worktop collection begins at £69.99. Please contact us for an exact quote.
